[Remote] Senior Account Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SeaCoast Underwriters, Inc., now known as Risk Placement Services, is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to manage a portfolio of captive insurance clients. This role involves financial oversight, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day client relationship management, requiring collaboration with internal teams and external service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of captive insurance clients
• Build trusted relationships with clients and provide clear, timely guidance on all captive‑related matters
• Deliver a high standard of customer service to clients and service providers
• Monitor client cash flow and prepare or review financial statements, management reports, and budgets
• Compile, consolidate, and analyze financial information for captive clients
• Prepare or review regulatory filings and ensure ongoing compliance with captive insurance regulations
• Support client business plan changes and communicate with captive regulators
• Prepare or review materials and present at captive Board of Director meetings
• Clearly explain accounting and financial concepts to non‑finance stakeholders
• Coordinate with auditors, actuaries, attorneys, regulators, and other service providers
• Facilitate annual captive audits, including gathering documentation and supporting timely completion and filing
• Partner with internal and external teams to support annual insurance policy renewals
• Work effectively within a team environment to support shared client and business objectives
• May provide guidance or oversight to other team members without formal people‑management responsibility

Skills

• Bachelor's degree and 7 or more years client service and/or claims management experience OR High School degree and 12 years experience
• License required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
• Able and willing to travel approximately 25% of the time
• Professional designation or higher education may be preferred, such as CPA or MBA
