[Remote] Sales Director, Insurance
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Brillio is seeking a Sales Director to drive net new business in the Insurance vertical. This role focuses on acquiring new clients and expanding Brillio’s footprint in the Life, P&C, and Specialty Insurance domains, leveraging strong sales acumen and deep insurance domain knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Drive net new client acquisition (80%) and growth in dormant/existing accounts (20%). Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Insurance vertical
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Insurance domain offerings
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline through lead generation, prospecting, and networking
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, presentations, RFI/RFP responses, negotiations, and deal closure
- Establish and nurture relationships with CxO-level executives at target insurance firms
- Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging domain expertise to position Brillio’s solutions
- Work closely with presales, delivery, and practice teams to craft compelling proposals
- Partner with BFSI leadership to create IP, solutions, and thought leadership in Insurance
Skills
- 12–15+ years of experience in IT services sales, with a proven track record in hunting new business
- Demonstrated success in selling Digital Transformation, Cloud, Data Analytics, and Product Engineering services
- Strong understanding of Insurance industry (Life, P&C, Specialty), Insurtech trends, regulatory landscape, and emerging models like embedded insurance and usage-based insurance
- Hunting mindset and evidence of client acquisition is a major qualifier
- Experience working in IT services and consulting is a must
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles (6–12 months) and multi-stakeholder negotiations
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology
- MBA is preferred
- Familiarity with platforms like Guidewire and Duck Creek is a plus
