[Remote] Senior Vascular Consultant-SoCal North
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Argon Medical is a global manufacturer of specialty medical products, headquartered in Plano, Texas. The Senior Vascular Consultant is responsible for expanding Argon’s VTE market presence across key accounts and health systems, combining clinical expertise and strategic account management to drive growth initiatives and mentor field peers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead commercial representative for Argon’s VTE solutions in high-value health systems and IDNs
- Partner with executive stakeholders (Physician Leadership, Value Analysis Committees, Supply Chain) to influence formulary decisions and expand product access
- Act as a clinical thought partner for physicians, facilitating advanced education, proctoring opportunities, and product evaluations
- Lead regional VTE training initiatives and serve as a field advisor to Sales Leadership and Marketing
- Drive strategic business planning for the territory, including forecasting, KOL mapping, and regional growth modeling
- Serve as a liaison between field teams and cross-functional partners to shape new product launches and clinical messaging
- Mentor junior Vascular Consultants and contribute to onboarding programs
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas while maintaining high ethical and compliance standards
- Adequately build procedural and clinical product knowledge to inservice or certify physicians and staff on the usage of Argon products
- Develop and implements sales strategies by determining relevant factors of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company’s products to hospital personnel and physicians
- Observe live procedures in the lab and operating room of accounts to gain insight into the specific preferences of each physician and staff member involved in the procedures
- Work with appropriate Argon Medical Device personal to help establish pricing packages that will address each individual customer/IDN needs while satisfying company guidelines and policies
- Respond in a timely fashion to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing a creative and feasible solution, including working with appropriate Argon Medical Device personal (Clinical, Marketing, Contracts) to find an optimal solution for the customer
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced or clinical degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in medical device sales, with a focus on vascular or interventional procedures
