[Remote] Performance Marketing Specialist

Brightside Marketing is focused on developing the next generation of digital marketing leaders, specializing in building high-performing acquisition systems for various brands. They are seeking a Performance Marketing Specialist to manage and optimize paid media campaigns, particularly on Meta and TikTok, while also supporting Google Ads initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Build, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and Google Ads
- Manage campaign structures, audiences, placements, budgets, creative tests, and conversion objectives
- Support campaigns across Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Demand Gen, retargeting, lead generation, traffic, and conversion campaigns
- Monitor pacing and performance daily to ensure campaigns hit KPI targets
- Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve CTR, CPC, CPM, CVR, CPL, CPA, ROAS, and overall efficiency
- Translate data into clear optimization recommendations and actionable next steps
- Support reporting by summarizing trends, insights, wins, and performance drivers
- Assist with dashboard reporting and performance analysis using GA4, Looker Studio, or similar tools
- Partner closely with creative and content teams to provide insights on top-performing messaging, offers, hooks, formats, and creative concepts
- Write and refine ad copy that drives engagement and conversions
- Contribute to creative testing frameworks and landing page optimization recommendations
- Support A/B testing initiatives across audiences, creatives, and conversion paths
- QA campaign setup thoroughly before launch, including UTMs, audiences, placements, budgets, tracking, pixels, and conversion events
- Assist with GA4, GTM, attribution, and conversion tracking implementation and troubleshooting
- Help ensure accurate data flow between ad platforms, websites, CRM systems, and reporting tools
Skills
- 2–5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience
- Strong expertise in Meta Ads Manager
- Experience managing Google Ads campaigns across Search, Performance Max, YouTube, or Demand Gen
- Experience optimizing campaigns across prospecting, retargeting, lead generation, and conversion objectives
- Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into action quickly
- Excellent attention to detail and strong QA habits
- Understanding of attribution, conversion tracking, pixels, UTMs, and funnel performance
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain performance clearly and confidently
- Comfortable moving quickly and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Agency or multi-brand experience is a strong plus
- Experience with GA4, GTM, HubSpot, or CRM integrations
- Experience with fitness, wellness, franchise, local service, or e-commerce brands
- Google Ads, GA4, or Meta certifications
- Experience with landing page optimization and CRO testing
- Familiarity with Looker Studio or performance dashboards
- Programmatic advertising experience
