[Remote] Business Development Manager

Vogrinc Search Group is a global leader in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment products and equipment, seeking a driven Business Development Manager to support growth in key Industrial Markets. This role focuses on developing business within food & beverage, protein processing, and dairy markets, selling treatment technologies and capital equipment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting food & beverage, protein processing, and dairy facilities
- Leverage existing industry relationships to identify opportunities and accelerate market penetration
- Build and maintain relationships with plant leadership, corporate decision-makers, engineering firms, EPCs, and design-build partners
- Understand customer operational challenges and align them with appropriate water and wastewater treatment solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, presentations, proposals, contract negotiation, and closing
- Collaborate with internal engineering, applications, and project teams to ensure accurate scoping and successful project delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and emerging technologies
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, customer meetings, and industry events
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports
- Manage and support independent representative relationships
Skills
- 3+ years of sales experience selling capital equipment, industrial systems, process technologies, or related solutions into food & beverage, protein processing, or dairy markets
- Familiarity with water treatment, wastewater processes, environmental compliance, or industrial utility systems
- Experience working with engineering firms, EPCs, design-build contractors, or consulting engineers
- Established relationships across plant, corporate, engineering, and design levels
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand technical and operational challenges
- Proven sales success in industrial markets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong MS Office skills and proficiency using CRM tools
- Self-motivated, organized, and effective in a remote environment
- Ability to travel up to 70%
