[Remote] Business Development Director

They are seeking a Business Development Director to drive outbound business development from the US into North Asia, focusing on building strategic partnerships and generating new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Partnership development: Build and nurture strategic partnerships with intermediaries such as law firms, accounting firms and other professional advisors
- Lead generation: Leverage personal networks, industry conferences and events to generate new business opportunities
- Client acquisition: Identify and engage US-based companies seeking to expand into China and Asia or scale existing operations
- Brand building: Actively promote Acclime’s brand in the US market through thought leadership, networking and visibility at key industry events
- Market expertise: Provide insights into regulatory, cultural and operational challenges for clients entering North Asia markets
- Revenue growth: Drive measurable business outcomes through proactive outreach and relationship management
Skills
- Proven track record in business development, preferably in professional services or consulting
- Must have lived in North Asia (China, Hong Kong, Korea or Japan) with strong regional networks
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with US-based corporates and intermediaries
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates with a legal or accounting background preferred
