[Remote] Revenue Cycle Administrator (AR)

The Revenue Cycle Administrator is responsible for the efficient submission of insurance claims and ensuring timely crediting of receivable accounts, alongside providing customer service support to staff and patients.

Responsibilities

  • Process patient insurance claims efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Obtain missing or invalid claim data from field offices
  • Provide customer service support to MyEyeDr. office staff and patients to help address billing inquiries and other routine matters
  • Investigate and resubmit denied/returned claims and partial payments
  • Escalate data processing and/or customer service needs to Claims Supervisor and/or Assistant Director of Managed Care, as necessary
  • Assist with patient billing and posting

Skills

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience required
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a metrics-based work environment
  • Necessary skills and abilities including problem solving, communication, organization and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze data and identify trends
  • Proven track record of resolving complex accounts receivable issues effectively
  • Strong computer software and data input skills, with high speed and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and math skills (must be comfortable working with calculators and computing numbers)
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) with the proven ability to manage priorities in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
