[Remote] Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Silq is focused on building the largest sustainable global shipping network, leveraging technology to simplify shipping processes. The Account Executive will join a rapidly growing sales team in the FreightTech space, responsible for generating leads, building relationships, and securing new business to support the company's growth plans.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships and establish credibility through remote and in person meetings with prospects
- Create a pipeline that generates 4 sales qualified leads per month
- Foster a culture focused on delivering exceptional customer service and mutual success
- Excel in sales activities to ensure consistent success and achievement
- Consult with prospects to understand their supply chain needs and challenges
- Secure new business each month by closing deals effectively
- Collaborate with sales development representatives to drive top of funnel growth
- Work with sales leadership to advance deals and close sales
- Strategize with leadership to achieve excellent outcomes for customers and the organization
Skills
- 3-5 years' experience in a full cycle (prospecting to closing), quota carrying sales role in freight forwarding
- Passion for cold-calling prospects, leading discovery calls, executing engaging demo calls, and closing new business
- A solution oriented mindset
- A strong desire to thrive in a startup( prior experience is an advantage)
- Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and analytical skills
