Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience Excellence

  • Model and deliver a distinctive, delightful customer experience by greeting every guest with a warm smile, maintaining eye contact, and demonstrating genuine interest in their needs.
  • Engage customers and patients alike, offering assistance with products, services, and store navigation to ensure a seamless shopping journey.
  • Resolve inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly, turning potential challenges into opportunities for satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Share best‑practice service habits with teammates, reinforcing arenaflex’s core service traits such as proactive assistance, need identification, and thorough follow‑through until the guest is fully satisfied.
  • Provide courteous, fair, and efficient checkout service at the assigned cash register, handling transactions with accuracy and a friendly demeanor.

Retail Operations & Merchandising

  • Recommend complementary items, trade‑up options, and promotional products that enhance the guest’s purchase experience and increase basket size.
  • Process sales, voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
  • Maintain clean, organized counters and shelves; ensure merchandise is well‑merchandised, properly priced, and stocked according to arenaflex standards.
  • Conduct inventory checks, record keeping, and price adjustments as directed by the store manager or shift leader.
  • Construct and refresh promotional displays, seasonal setups, and super‑structure merchandising to drive sales and brand visibility.
  • Assist with food safety protocols, including proper separation of raw and pre‑cooked items, and execute first‑in‑first‑out (FIFO) rotation for consumables.

Asset Protection & Compliance

  • Implement arenaflex asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss, including loss‑prevention monitoring and incident reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations governing regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco items, verifying age and identification when required.
  • Maintain a vigilant presence on the sales floor, spotting suspicious activity and collaborating with loss‑prevention teams to safeguard store assets.

Specialized Services (Photo, Web Pick‑Up, etc.)

  • Deliver high‑quality customer service in the photo department, assisting guests with digital passport photos, poster printing, and creative machine operations.
  • Suggest and upsell promotional photo products, enhancing the guest’s experience while meeting sales targets.
  • Manage web pick‑up responsibilities: monitor online orders, accurately pick items, and ensure timely delivery to customers arriving in‑store.
  • Support both interior and exterior store maintenance, keeping the environment clean, orderly, and inviting for all visitors.
  • Adhere to all arenaflex policies and procedures, fostering respectful relationships with coworkers and contributing to a positive team dynamic.
  • Complete special assignments and ad‑hoc tasks as delegated by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to go above and beyond.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in retail, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1‑2 years experience in a customer‑facing role, preferably within a fast‑paced retail or service environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate cash registers, handle monetary transactions, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport, listen actively, and communicate clearly.
  • Basic proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, inventory management tools, and store equipment.
