Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

  • High‑Volume Call Management: Answer and manage a large volume of inbound calls with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Needs Assessment: Listen actively to understand each customer’s unique situation, then recommend tailored solar solutions that meet their energy goals.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate trust through open, interactive dialogue, ensuring customers feel valued and heard.
  • Accurate Information Delivery: Provide precise, comprehensive answers using arenaflex’s knowledge base, CRM tools, and industry resources.
  • Complaint Resolution: Address concerns promptly, propose effective solutions, and follow up until full satisfaction is achieved.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Log all interactions, update customer accounts, and maintain organized files in accordance with company policies.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow established communication procedures, guidelines, and compliance standards at all times.
  • Proactive Engagement: Go the extra mile by reaching out to customers, offering helpful tips, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross‑selling.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in cross‑functional meetings, share insights with product and sales teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications – What We Require

  • Proven experience in customer support or client service (entry‑level candidates with strong internship or volunteer experience are welcome).
  • Exceptional phone etiquette, active listening, and clear verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving as part of diverse, virtual teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering error‑free information.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation abilities.

  • Comfort with night‑time and occasional weekend work, adhering to one of the following shift patterns:
    • 1 pm – 11 pm CST, four days per week with rotating Saturdays, or
    • 3 pm – 11 pm CST, Monday‑Friday with rotating Saturdays.
  • Ownership of a Mac computer and fluency with the arenaflex ecosystem of software (iOS, macOS, iWork, etc.).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and willingness to undergo a background check.

Preferred Qualifications – Nice‑to‑Have Extras

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zendesk.
  • Familiarity with solar energy concepts, renewable‑energy incentives, and utility billing structures.
