Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, results‑driven Senior Business Analyst to join our Pharmacy & Retail Operations team on a fully remote basis. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner, translating complex data into actionable insights that shape long‑term planning, operational improvements, and technology implementations. You will work closely with cross‑functional partners—including IT, compliance, system development, and frontline pharmacy leaders—to drive data‑centric decision making that enhances both the customer experience and the efficiency of our retail network.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, aggregate, and synthesize large data sets from multiple sources (SQL, EDW, SAS, Business Objects, etc.) to support strategic initiatives across Pharmacy & Retail Operations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that enable stakeholders to monitor performance, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
• Partner with senior leadership to translate business requirements into clear, data‑driven business cases that justify technology investments, process redesigns, and operational enhancements.
• Lead the design, testing, and rollout of new applications and system enhancements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for ad‑hoc analytical requests, delivering timely, high‑quality insights that influence day‑to‑day decision making.
• Mentor and coach junior Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative learning environment and promoting best practices in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling.
• Collaborate with IT, regulatory, and security teams to ensure that all analytical solutions meet data governance, privacy, and security requirements.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in data collection, reporting, and analysis with a focus on identifying problems, trends, and actionable insights.
• Proficiency in querying relational databases using SQL (or comparable tools such as Golden, Business Objects, EDW, SAS, or SQL Server).
• Demonstrated ability to translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations for senior leaders.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (e.g., creating complex tables, charts, pivot tables, and presentations).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment, preferably within retail pharmacy or a closely related industry.
