As a Client General Manager at arenaflex, you will be the strategic champion for our most valuable entertainment clients. You will act as the single point of contact, guiding them through the intricacies of global travel while aligning arenaflex’s capabilities with their creative ambitions. Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Client Insight: Develop a deep understanding of each client’s strategic objectives, cultural nuances, and business drivers to tailor travel solutions that support their unique production cycles.
  • Solution Design & Delivery: Identify and craft innovative, value‑added travel solutions for news, sports, film, TV, and theatrical productions, ensuring productivity gains and an elevated traveler experience.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with arenaflex’s Global Business Consulting, Client Services, Service Delivery, Implementation, Meetings & Events, and GCG Directors to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Influence Building: Establish and nurture relationships at senior and operational levels within client organizations and affiliate studios, creating a network of advocates for arenaflex’s services.
  • Market & Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of entertainment travel trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to continuously refine arenaflex’s value proposition.
  • Account Planning & Execution: Produce strategic account plans that uncover groundbreaking business opportunities, drive cost savings, and improve performance through data‑driven analysis.
  • Financial Stewardship: Lead P&L management, regional pricing strategies, and quarterly/annual business reviews to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent arenaflex as a subject‑matter expert to prospective media and entertainment clients, showcasing our expertise in travel technology, policy consultation, and service optimization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion the enhancement of arenaflex’s travel platform, leveraging technology road‑mapping, online servicing solutions, and benchmarking insights.
  • Travel Commitment: Maintain a virtual presence while adhering to East Coast business hours and traveling 25‑30% of the time to client sites, industry events, and production locations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated passion for the unique travel needs of entertainment clients, with a track record of delivering measurable results.
  • 5+ years of global account or client management experience, preferably within the media, entertainment, or large‑scale travel sectors.
  • Proven ability to upsell and cross‑sell travel products and services, driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Strong background in project management, with experience leading complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills, creativity, and the ability to develop innovative travel solutions for fast‑paced production environments.
  • Advanced negotiation capabilities, including handling objections and securing mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Robust network‑building skills, both internally across arenaflex and externally with client organizations, studios, and industry partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating complex value propositions to senior executives and operational teams.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze profitability drivers, construct pricing models, and manage account P&L.
