About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative specializing in loyalty and retention, you will be the trusted point of contact for customers who may be considering changes to their services. Your mission is to cultivate meaningful relationships, understand customer needs, and guide them toward solutions that enhance their experience with arenaflex. You'll take a consultative and empathetic approach, turning potentially frustrating conversations into positive outcomes through active listening, problem-solving, and product expertise.

Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to resolve complex issues, retain customer loyalty, and identify opportunities to offer additional products and services that genuinely benefit the customer. Key Responsibilities

  • Multi-System Navigation: Efficiently navigate between multiple systems to research and resolve complex customer concerns related to one or more products or services, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions.
  • Needs Discovery: Uncover customer wants, interests, and needs during every interaction to effectively save products and identify opportunities to offer additional services that align with their preferences.
  • Self-Sufficiency & Resource Utilization: Demonstrate independence by leveraging various support tools, knowledge bases, and resources to research and resolve complex customer issues within a virtual environment.
  • Virtual Collaboration: Utilize virtual communication platforms to engage with managers, mentors, or support teams for assistance when needed, fostering a collaborative remote work culture.
  • Billing Expertise: Maintain proficiency in explaining customer bills, managing billing inquiries, and addressing rate plan and feature matters across multiple products and services.
  • Basic Troubleshooting: Perform fundamental troubleshooting for one or more products and services, guiding customers through step-by-step solutions with patience and clarity.
  • Schedule Adherence: Adhere to a set schedule, including breaks, lunches, and scheduled open time, to ensure availability to answer customer calls and provide exceptional service. This is a full-time position requiring 40 working hours per week.
  • Flexibility & Overtime: Hours of operation are subject to change, and mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Current business hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Central Standard Time.
  • Training Commitment: Initial training and nesting hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM for approximately three months. Daily attendance is mandatory during training.
  • Post-Training Schedule: Following training, your hours may shift to later times and could include Saturday and/or Sunday shifts.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or remote environment.
  • Strong active listening skills and the ability to communicate effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems and applications simultaneously.
  • Reliable high-speed internet service with a minimum of 18 Mbps download and 12 Mbps upload speed.
  • An established dedicated work area that includes a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and a direct LAN connection. arenaflex will provide necessary equipment, including a keyboard, monitor, computer, and mobile device.
  • Ability to maintain a workspace that meets Work From Home (WFH) standards, including compliance with technical, security, physical, and noise level requirements, as well as a Clean Desk policy.
  • Willingness to participate in workspace audits, which may include remote desktop observation, call and screen recordings, live webcam monitoring, photographs of workspace setup, and video chats.
  • Must reside in one of the following states: South Dakota, Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin.

  • Familiarity with telecommunications, media, or entertainment products and services.
  • Prior remote work experience with demonstrated self-management and accountability.

Compensation and Benefits

At arenaflex, we believe in rewarding talent and dedication. This role offers a competitive compensation package with a starting salary of up to $41,035 per year. Representatives who excel in sales performance can earn up to $47,035 in total starting compensation.
