Virtual Office Counsel: Employment Litigation
We are working with one of the oldest and largest management side, labor and employment law firms in the country. The firm seeks employment litigation attorneys with five or more years of experience (5+) to join its Virtual Office team, as Employment Litigation Counsel, in particular target states, identified above and below. The work will involve the tactical aspects of cases, primarily, rather than facets of cases involving physical presence, such as attending in-person depositions, hearings, conferences, or trials. Attorneys hired for this role will work under the guidance of partners and operate in collaboration with other skilled lawyers and paralegals. They will benefit from the support of a paralegal team and a shared secretarial pool within the firm’s Virtual Office. The Counsel role requires efficient, high quality legal work and offers the challenge of a full-cycle litigation practice; however, it allows attorneys serving in it increased flexibility, including options re billable hours expectations, which the attorneys, individually, participate in setting for themselves in dialogue with appropriate firm personnel. The position imposes no business development pressure, allowing attorneys filling these roles to concentrate on providing exceptional legal services without the burden of additional non-billable hour demands. The firm is committed to creating and empowering an inclusive workplace in which talented attorneys can thrive and flourish. Salary for the firm’s Counsel roles is $135,000 - $170,000, with the actual base pay determined by factors such as an attorney’s own selected billable hours target and an attorney’s actual employment litigation experience, skills, and qualifications.
