Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute quantitative and discretionary trading strategies for various cryptocurrencies. Monitor market trends, news, and sentiment to identify trading opportunities and risks. Conduct fundamental and technical analysis of cryptocurrencies and blockchain projects. Manage trading positions and portfolio risk effectively, ensuring adherence to risk limits. Collaborate with the research team to backtest and refine trading algorithms. Analyze trading performance and provide insights for strategy improvement. Stay informed about regulatory developments and their potential impact on the crypto market. Maintain accurate trading records and communicate market insights to the team. Explore and evaluate new digital assets and trading instruments. Contribute to the firm's overall investment strategy and decision-making process.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Proven experience in trading financial markets, with a significant focus on cryptocurrencies. Strong understanding of blockchain technology, tokenomics, and the broader crypto ecosystem. Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL). Demonstrated ability to develop and implement trading strategies. Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with risk management techniques and tools. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for cryptocurrencies and a drive to stay ahead of market trends. Experience with derivatives and futures trading is a plus.
