Key Account Manager (Texas) Role Mission... The Datalogic Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for growing revenue in their business, understanding Key/Target accounts’ needs in order to offer solutions for their applications. They will ensure the correct products and services are being delivered and resolve any issues and complaints to maintain a level of integrity with our customer base. Proper forecasting of revenue and updating the CRM in regard to key metrics is essential. Key Responsibilities • Meet and exceed annual sales targets and KPI’s • Interacts with end user customers to grow revenue, prospect new accounts, build customer relationships, and understand customer needs by effectively positioning Datalogic's product portfolio. • Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives • Develops and owns the account strategy within the assigned accounts and communicates back to Datalogic appropriately on an account-by-account basis. • Establishes executive-level relationships with the customer base and understands customer processes and business model fully. Accountabilities and Performance Measures • Overall revenue • Understand the DL portfolio and Retail industry • Maintain a key relationship with the sales team • Alignment with Datalogic culture with a sense of ownership • Update of CRM (MS Dynamics), forecast tool Qualifications/Requirements Education • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a business or technical discipline: Engineering or Business/Marketing degree (preferred) Work experience • 5+ years hunting/net new business-focused sales experience to end users • Experience selling into Tier 1,2,3 accounts in the Retail Market, Mobile Computing market, Scanning or similar market. Other Information This position is home office based and requires travel (US wide, some international) approximately 60%+ of the time. Skills • Demonstrates excellent presentation skills.
