As a Remote Part-Time Data Entry Specialist, you will serve as a liaison to the Key Account Group, providing critical support that enhances relationships with strategic accounts – with a particular emphasis on the Bottle King store network. Your primary mission will be to ensure an exceptional customer service experience, efficient order management, and proactive sales support across the off-premise key account universe.

The objective of this role is clear: enhance relationships, minimize errors, drive revenue growth, and maintain consistency and reliability in service delivery. You will be the trusted point of contact who keeps operations running smoothly and customers coming back.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support and Relationship Management

  • Provide proactive and responsive support to address customer needs, concerns, and issues in a timely, professional manner.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Bottle King, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly across email, phone, and other communication channels.
  • Demonstrate empathy and a customer-centric approach in every interaction, treating each stakeholder with respect and understanding.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key-account decision-makers and stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor for their operational needs.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues with an experience-driven approach, collaborating with the CX team to capture data for trend analysis and process enhancements.

Order Management and Data Entry Excellence

  • Manage the end-to-end order process for Bottle King, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order entry, verification, and tracking.
  • Bill regular and reserve orders, cooperative orders, B&H orders/releases, rebills, and credits with precision and attention to detail.
  • Review RIPs (Routing Information Packets) for accuracy and assist KAM (Key Account Management) leadership with orders as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including KPI analysis for business intelligence opportunities to develop a seamless customer experience and process development.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely execution of issue resolution for fulfilled orders and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

Sales Support and Strategic Growth

  • Assist with order placement, product inquiries, and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities to support revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify potential leads and opportunities within the Bottle King account portfolio.
  • Develop a deep understanding of products and services to effectively address customer inquiries and support broader sales efforts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to provide relevant insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to account planning and strategy development by conducting regular checks to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Act as a subject matter expert offering guidance and insight on processing of orders and customer-service-related processes.
  • Provide expertise on RIP, QD (Quote/Deal), and EOM (End of Month) billing to drive customer success.
  • Offer insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on data analysis and customer feedback.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of previous experience in customer service, sales support, or related roles, preferably within the beverage industry or retail sector.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets and documentation.
  • CRM Knowledge: Proficiency in CRM software, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail, with the capacity to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strategic thinking capabilities combined with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting key accounts in the beverage, alcohol, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Familiarity with order management systems, billing platforms, and inventory tracking tools.
  • Experience working remotely with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus.
  • Knowledge of off-premise sales channels and retail account management.
