Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative – Loan Services at arenaflex serves as the first point of contact for clients and prospective borrowers seeking information, guidance, and support throughout the lending journey. This fully remote, part-time contract role is ideal for an organized, articulate, and empathetic professional who can balance multiple communication channels while delivering accurate, timely, and compliant service.
Working as a contractor for arenaflex, you will manage inbound calls, emails, and messages, assist clients with loan applications, resolve account-related inquiries, and collaborate closely with our loan officers and underwriting teams. Your contributions will directly influence client satisfaction, retention, and the overall reputation of arenaflex as a trusted lending partner.
This is a 30-hour-per-week remote position open to candidates located anywhere within the United States. Compensation ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Inbound Communications: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients by answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling digital inquiries related to arenaflex’s loan products and services.
- Provide Accurate and Compliant Information: Clearly explain loan products, terms, conditions, rates, application procedures, and documentation requirements to current and prospective clients.
- Guide Clients Through the Loan Application Process: Walk borrowers through each step of the application, helping them understand what is needed, when it is needed, and what to expect next.
- Resolve Account-Related Issues: Investigate and address client concerns regarding loan accounts, payments, transactions, and disbursements in a prompt and professional manner.
- Follow Up Proactively: Ensure timely and effective follow-up on outstanding client requests, open inquiries, and unresolved matters to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Document Client Interactions: Accurately record all customer interactions, inquiries, resolutions, and notes in arenaflex’s CRM system to maintain a comprehensive client history.
- Collaborate with Loan Officers and Internal Teams: Partner with loan officers, underwriters, and other internal departments to escalate complex issues and provide seamless service to clients.
- Maintain Product and Regulatory Knowledge: Stay current on arenaflex’s loan offerings, internal policies, industry trends, and relevant federal and state regulations.
- Uphold Compliance Standards: Ensure that all client interactions adhere strictly to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Deliver a Consistent, High-Quality Client Experience: Approach every interaction with empathy, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Essential Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 1–2 years of customer service experience, ideally in loan services, banking, mortgage lending, or another area of financial services.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to explain complex loan terms, processes, and requirements in a clear and approachable manner.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), CRM platforms, and modern phone systems to manage daily workflow.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated capability to assess customer concerns, identify solutions, and resolve issues efficiently and accurately.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in managing client records, documenting interactions, and ensuring all information is accurate and complete.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
- Familiarity with loan products such as home loans, personal loans, bridge loans, fix-and-flip financing, or other real estate lending products is a strong plus.

- Strong multitasking and organizational skills to manage multiple communication channels and competing priorities simultaneously.
