Position Overview
As a Healthcare Eligibility Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in delivering essential administrative services related to benefits eligibility. Your work will directly impact the accuracy and timeliness of eligibility records, helping customers understand and access the benefits they are entitled to receive. This is a production-based role that involves meaningful customer interactions, data management, report generation, and collaborative problem-solving. Unlike a traditional inbound call center position, this role emphasizes quality, accuracy, and proactive resolution of eligibility issues through a balanced mix of customer engagement and technical administration.
You will work with both automated and manual eligibility systems, partnering with internal teams, external clients, and vendors to ensure seamless processing. From identifying data discrepancies to recommending process improvements, your contributions will help arenaflex maintain its reputation as a trusted leader in healthcare benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic and impactful role at arenaflex, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Eligibility Data Management: Implement and maintain accurate eligibility data for benefits programs, processing records through both manual entry and automated systems to ensure complete and up-to-date information across all platforms.
- Customer and Vendor Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal partners, external clients, and vendors, professionally managing communications to address and resolve eligibility issues with empathy and efficiency.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Generate and analyze detailed reports to identify data inconsistencies, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to maintain the highest standards of data integrity.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on technical support for electronic eligibility processing, troubleshoot system issues as they arise, and collaborate with IT and technical systems teams to resolve more complex challenges.
- Data Installation and Maintenance: Ensure that all customer data is installed, updated, and maintained accurately and promptly, adhering to strict timelines and quality benchmarks established by arenaflex.
- Process Improvement: Actively identify opportunities to streamline eligibility processes, enhance reporting tools, and implement best practices that drive operational excellence across the team.
- Reporting and Analytics: Produce regular and ad-hoc reports using both manual and automated tools, providing actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, including operations, IT, quality assurance, and client services, to ensure a seamless customer experience and continuous improvement of service delivery.
