This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, statistical analysis, and business strategy, providing you with a unique platform to influence high‑visibility decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and optimize end‑to‑end data ingestion workflows using SQL, Python, and modern ETL tools such as Alteryx and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Advanced Analytics & Modeling: Apply statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and machine‑learning algorithms to uncover trends, forecast demand, and recommend actionable strategies.
  • Business Insight Generation: Conduct deep‑dive analyses on operational, financial, and customer data to surface insights that drive revenue growth, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Build interactive dashboards and executive‑level presentations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools, ensuring data is accessible and understandable to non‑technical audiences.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product, finance, operations, and senior leadership teams to define analytical requirements, prioritize projects, and translate findings into business recommendations.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Guide junior analysts and data engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, best‑practice adherence, and continuous learning.
  • Cross‑Functional Projects: Participate in multi‑disciplinary initiatives, contributing analytical expertise to product launches, process improvements, and strategic planning cycles.
  • Data Governance & Quality Assurance: Enforce data integrity standards, perform regular data audits, and champion best practices for data security and compliance.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or business intelligence within a fast‑paced, data‑centric environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL (T‑SQL/PL‑SQL) and at least one programming language for analytics (Python or R).
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large, heterogeneous data sets, including both structured and unstructured sources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of presenting complex findings to senior leadership.
  • Experience creating compelling visualizations and dashboards that translate data into clear, actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications & Technical Skills

  • Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field is a plus.
  • Hands‑on experience with data‑visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and data‑lake architectures.
  • Exposure to machine‑learning frameworks (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) for predictive analytics.
  • Knowledge of Agile and SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies, especially SAFE Scrum.
  • Experience with Alteryx Designer for workflow automation and data blending.
  • Understanding of financial reporting, basic accounting principles, and revenue‑recognition concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure or AWS services related to data processing and analytics.

Core Competencies & Soft Skills

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to break down complex problems, identify patterns, and develop data‑driven solutions.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across functional teams and influence decision‑makers.
