Key Responsibilities

  • Warm Welcome: Greet every guest and member with a genuine smile, eye contact, and courteous tone, setting a positive tone for their visit.
  • Personal Connection: Build authentic relationships by learning members’ names, preferences, and fitness goals, and offering tailored assistance.
  • Member Journey Guidance: Lead comprehensive tours that showcase arenaflex’s facilities, membership options, class formats, and add‑on services, following the Guest‑to‑Member Journey framework.
  • Sales & Upgrades: Proactively present membership plans, pricing structures, and upgrade opportunities; book personal training consultations and enroll members in personal training programs.
  • Feedback Loop: Capture member feedback, share insights with leadership, and collaborate with teammates to implement improvements that enhance the overall experience.
  • Operational Excellence: Execute daily check‑in procedures, conduct hourly club walks, maintain cleanliness standards, restock merchandise, and process arenaflex sales with precision.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and report any facility or service issues promptly, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption to members.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the front‑desk, fitness, and maintenance teams to coordinate events, promotions, and community initiatives.
  • Technology Utilization: Leverage arenaflex’s member management software and digital tools to provide accurate information, schedule appointments, and track sales performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Seek out opportunities to streamline processes, enhance member satisfaction, and contribute to a culture of excellence.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality, business, or related fields is a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a customer‑facing role, preferably within fitness, hospitality, or retail environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and commission goals.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining facility standards.
  • Comfortable using point‑of‑sale systems, membership management software, and basic office applications.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive attitude, high energy level, and a genuine passion for health and wellness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in fitness club sales, membership enrollment, or personal training coordination.
  • Certification in CPR, First Aid, or a recognized fitness credential (e.g., ACE, NASM).
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service in fast‑paced environments.
  • Ability to speak a second language, enhancing communication with a diverse member base.
  • Experience with community outreach or event planning to drive member engagement.
