Role Overview The Business Operations Analytics team at careerzynith is the analytical backbone of the company, aggregating data from product, marketing, finance, and operations to provide a single source of truth. As the Lead Data Analyst, you will own the end‑to‑end analytics lifecycle—from requirements gathering and metric definition to ETL design, dashboard development, and performance monitoring. You will mentor a growing team of analysts, collaborate with cross‑functional partners, and champion a data‑first culture across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Business Performance Reporting & Storytelling: Serve as the primary liaison for cross‑functional stakeholders to interpret platform performance, identify gaps, and recommend data‑driven actions that improve key business outcomes. Analytics Strategy & Tooling: Lead the design and implementation of robust, repeatable measurement frameworks and reporting solutions across streaming and digital platforms. BI Execution for Large‑Scale Data: Own the delivery of analytics for massive data volumes, acting as the subject‑matter expert for the analytics team and collaborating closely with Data Engineering and Data Visualization specialists. Single Source of Truth Creation: Partner with the Product team to define, standardize, and maintain core performance metrics that become the authoritative reference for product health. ETL & Metric Architecture: Design, build, and maintain high‑performance ETL pipelines, dimensional models, and data marts that support both ad‑hoc analysis and automated reporting. Collaboration & Communication: Work hand‑in‑hand with business partners to uncover analytical needs, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver intuitive visualizations using tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide junior analysts, foster a culture of continuous learning, and champion best practices in data governance, documentation, and quality assurance. Essential Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in analytics, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior analyst role.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with distributed query engines such as SparkSQL, Hive, or Presto.
- Hands‑on experience with OLAP databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and building scalable data models.
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain complex ETL pipelines and data warehouses.
- Strong expertise in data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) and a track record of delivering executive‑level dashboards.
- Programming skills in Python or R for statistical analysis, data manipulation, and automation.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Proven project management capabilities, including prioritization, timeline management, and stakeholder coordination.
