We cultivate an inclusive, collaborative, and forward‑thinking culture where every employee is encouraged to bring their authentic self, share fresh ideas, and make a tangible impact on the communities we serve.

Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Customer Service Representative – Government Treasury Management Card Technology, you will be the trusted voice for arenaflex’s card‑based solutions in the West Region. You will partner with government clients, financial partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex inquiries, safeguard transactions, and ensure a seamless experience across all digital and voice channels. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from a quiet, confidential home office while aligning your schedule with Pacific Time Zone business hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced Issue Resolution: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve high‑complexity card‑related inquiries, ranging from transaction disputes to technical navigation challenges, across phone, email, chat, and secure portal channels.
  • Client Advocacy: Serve as the escalation point for recurring or critical issues, acting as a liaison between government clients, internal risk teams, and product specialists to deliver timely, compliant solutions.
  • CARE Model Delivery: Apply arenaflex’s CARES (Customer‑Centric, Accurate, Responsive, Empathetic, Solution‑Oriented) framework to every interaction, ensuring consistent adherence to our core values.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management: Accurately record all client interactions in arenaflex’s CRM, update knowledge‑base articles, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives that reduce future effort for both customers and teammates.
  • Coaching & Mentorship: Provide guidance, best‑practice tips, and on‑the‑job training to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the service desk.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Identify potential fraud indicators, perform root‑cause analysis, and collaborate with arenaflex’s Enterprise Risk Management team to mitigate exposure and uphold regulatory standards.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) for response time, first‑contact resolution, and customer satisfaction (CSAT) while contributing to departmental KPIs.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, preferably within credit‑card, treasury‑management, or government‑focused financial services.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex web portals, payment processing platforms, and secure client portals with confidence.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of delivering clear, concise, and empathetic responses.
  • Strong analytical mindset capable of identifying root causes, recommending corrective actions, and preventing recurrence.
  • Proficiency with multi‑channel support tools (e.g., ticketing systems, live chat, CRM) and a solid grasp of basic technical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity and collaboration with distributed teams.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Accountability & Continuous Improvement: Demonstrates ownership of outcomes and actively seeks ways to streamline processes.
  • Decision‑Making & Critical Thinking: Evaluates complex scenarios quickly, balances risk, and selects optimal solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivates trust with government clients, internal partners, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Technical Savvy: Comfortable with emerging fintech tools, data analytics dashboards, and security protocols.
  • Fraud Detection & Prevention: Recognizes red flags, escalates suspicious activity, and follows arenaflex’s compliance guidelines.
  • Multi‑Tasking & Prioritization: Manages competing demands while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
