Position Overview – Associate Customer Service Representative (Work‑From‑Home)
The Associate Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the frontline ambassador for arenaflex’s dental benefit program. In this role, you will handle inbound and outbound communications—via phone, email, and chat—addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring every interaction meets our high standards of professionalism and empathy. This is a fully remote position, offering a structured schedule that balances training, core service hours, and opportunities for personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Respond promptly to member, provider, broker, and group inquiries through telephone, email, and live chat, delivering accurate information and courteous service.
- Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve service‑related problems, including claim adjustments, eligibility questions, and billing discrepancies, escalating complex cases to senior staff when necessary.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain precise records of all communications, time‑keeping entries, and case notes in accordance with arenaflex’s quality‑control policies and Department of Defense (DoD) contractual requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Meet or exceed established production, quality, and adherence metrics; participate in regular coaching sessions and mandatory training modules.
- Process Improvement: Identify recurring issues or gaps in knowledge, propose enhancements to workflows, and contribute to the development of FAQs and knowledge‑base articles.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams—including claims, provider relations, and IT—to ensure seamless service delivery and a unified customer experience.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned, such as supporting special projects, assisting with outreach initiatives, or covering extended service hours during peak periods.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call‑center environment; healthcare‑related experience is strongly preferred.
- U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a background check, in compliance with DoD contract requirements.

Training Schedule
The role begins with an intensive 7‑week training program, running Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Training covers arenaflex’s dental benefit platforms, customer service best practices, compliance standards, and soft‑skill development. Upon successful completion, you will transition to the core service schedule of 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to support peak demand periods.
