Implementing best practice nursing care in post-acute residents in nearby areas ? Monitoring the conditions of residents and providing updates to the nursing team ? Measuring and documenting the basic vital signs of residents ? Helping residents with grooming, feeding, toileting, and other basic activities of daily living (ADLs) ? Promoting a clean and safe environment by ensuring best practices in hygiene and by clearing areas of hazards ? Transporting residents around the facility and assisting them with other movements, as needed during the day ? Interacting with residents on a daily basis to keep them engaged, provide comfort, and build trusting relationships ? Being accountable to follow and adhere to care plans for residents and all applicable rules, regulations, and policies ? Bridging communications between, and among, staff and residents (and their family members) Qualifications and Skills ? Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification ? Ability to lift at least 50 lbs ? Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing care procedures ? Strong attention to detail ?
