Our mission is simple — to make every customer feel heard, valued, and delighted — and that mission begins with our people.

Headquartered with a strong national presence, arenaflex serves customers across the United States, with our Charleston, South Carolina location serving as a key hub for customer support operations. Charleston itself offers a unique blend of historic charm, coastal beauty, and a thriving professional community, making it an ideal place to live and work. From the pastel-colored historic homes in the French Quarter to the pristine beaches of Folly Island and Sullivan’s Island, Charleston provides an unmatched quality of life that complements the rewarding work our team does every day.

At arenaflex, we believe that diversity drives innovation. We are proud to foster an inclusive workplace where team members from all backgrounds, identities, and experiences can thrive. Our values — integrity, empathy, excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement — are more than words on a wall; they guide every decision we make and every customer interaction we deliver.

Position Overview

As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing timely, accurate, and friendly support across phone, email, live chat, and other communication channels. Your primary goal will be to resolve customer inquiries, address concerns, and ensure that every interaction reflects the high standards of service that arenaflex is known for.

This is a full-time, entry-level-friendly position with paid training provided from day one. We welcome candidates from all experience levels — whether you are just starting your professional journey or are a seasoned customer service professional looking for a fresh opportunity. If you have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to help people, you already have the foundation we are looking for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond Promptly to Customer Inquiries: Handle inbound customer questions and requests via phone, email, live chat, and other supported channels, ensuring timely and professional responses that meet or exceed service level agreements.
  • Resolve Customer Issues with Empathy and Efficiency: Listen actively to customer concerns, identify root causes, and provide clear, accurate, and effective solutions. Escalate complex issues to senior team members or specialized departments when appropriate, while maintaining ownership of the customer’s experience throughout the resolution process.
  • Provide Accurate and Complete Information: Use internal knowledge bases, tools, and resources to deliver valid, complete, and well-explained answers to customer questions. Document all interactions thoroughly in our CRM platform to ensure continuity and quality.
  • Maintain a Positive and Professional Attitude: Represent arenaflex with a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor in every interaction — even during challenging or high-pressure situations. Model our service values at all times.
  • Process Orders, Returns, and Account Updates: Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, processing returns, updating account information, and navigating our products or services.
  • Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Recognize recurring customer issues or trends and communicate insights to your supervisor or quality team. Contribute ideas for improving processes, scripts, training materials, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Meet and Exceed Performance Metrics: Achieve individual and team performance goals related to customer satisfaction scores, first-call resolution rates, response times, and quality assurance standards.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with team leads, trainers, quality assurance specialists, and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and continuous personal development.
  • Stay Current on Product Knowledge and Policies: Participate in ongoing training sessions, team meetings, and knowledge updates to stay informed about new products, services, policies, and best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and professionally across multiple channels.
  • Composure Under Pressure: Ability to remain calm, patient, and solution-focused when handling difficult customers or high-volume periods.
  • Basic Computer Literacy: Comfortable using computers, web browsers, email platforms, and standard office software. Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
  • Customer-First Mindset: A genuine passion for helping people and creating positive experiences.
  • Reliability and Accountability: Dependable, punctual, and committed to delivering consistent, high-quality work.
  • Team-Oriented Attitude: Willingness to collaborate, support teammates, and contribute to a positive team culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, call center, or related fields (entry-level candidates are strongly encouraged to apply).
  • Further education in customer service, communications, business, or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, ticketing systems, or customer support software.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus and may qualify you for additional compensation opportunities.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
