Why This Role Matters

In today’s fast‑evolving health‑care landscape, accurate data drives every strategic decision—from medication management to payer negotiations. As a Data Entry Analyst within our Specialty Pharmacy division, you will be the backbone of data integrity, ensuring that critical information flows seamlessly across pharma, payer, finance, and clinical teams. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of specialty programs, compliance with regulatory standards, and the overall quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end‑to‑end data entry process for specialty pharmacy and payer information, guaranteeing timeliness and precision.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including pharma partners, finance, clinical operations, and IT—to collect, validate, and reconcile data required for quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and regulatory reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with HITECH and HIPAA regulations by implementing rigorous data‑quality checks and audit trails.
  • Develop, update, and manage dashboards and reporting tools that provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that capture detailed data‑capture specifications and workflow enhancements.
  • Support the preparation and submission of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) by providing accurate data and analysis.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data governance, advising senior leadership on best practices and emerging trends.
  • Foster strong relationships with external vendors and internal partners to streamline data exchange processes.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies, working closely with finance and operations to correct billing or reporting errors.
  • Mentor junior team members, facilitating onboarding, continuous learning, and performance development.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field. Equivalent experience (e.g., high school diploma/GED with 9+ years of relevant work) will also be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in data entry, analytics, or health‑care operations, with at least 2 years focused on stakeholder relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and maintain data‑driven processes that align with business objectives.
  • Proven track record of identifying functional gaps and implementing corrective actions.
  • Strong experience leading cross‑functional teams and communicating effectively with senior leadership.
  • Exposure to financial analysis within a health‑care environment (e.g., budgeting, cost reconciliation).
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time for on‑site meetings, training sessions, or industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or MBA in Business Administration, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Technical proficiency with programming languages such as SAS, SQL, or Python.
  • Hands‑on experience with data extraction, mining, profiling, and warehouse management tools.
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms like Salesforce, SharePoint, or similar collaboration suites.
  • Knowledge of pricing and revenue management solutions (e.g., Vistaar, Vendavo).

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to interpret complex data sets, spot trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data entry and validation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for drafting reports, presenting insights, and influencing stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
  • Collaboration: Proven experience working in matrixed environments, building consensus across diverse teams.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactive mindset for diagnosing issues, proposing solutions, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Technology Savvy: Comfortable navigating data‑visualization tools, ERP systems, and cloud‑based platforms.
