Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Care Assessments Orange County, CA | Flexible
Description We’re a California-based home care agency seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to complete per-diem client assessments and QA supervisory visits. This role is ideal for an RN who values flexibility, works independently, and is genuinely passionate about caring for others. Candidates must have prior experience in home care, with a strong understanding of in-home patient needs, safety standards, and caregiver oversight. - Per-diem / as-needed
- Pay $75 per completed assessment
- Pay Schedule within 4–5 business days after a valid invoice is received
- Schedule Flexible, with opportunities for last-minute assessments
- Location within Orange County (no shift work, no ongoing caseload) What You’ll Do
- Conduct in-home client assessments and QA supervisory visits
- Engage clients and families with professionalism, compassion, and respect
- Accurately document findings using secure systems
- Submit all documentation the same day
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and California privacy standards Ideal Qualities for This Role The ideal per-diem nurse assessor is someone who

- Active California RN license
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
- Prior experience in home care (required)
- Valid government-issued ID
- Clean background check (no felony convictions)
- Reliable laptop for documentation
