[Remote] IT - Project Manager Tech IV
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Scalence L.L.C. is a company seeking a Scrum Master to manage the Scrum process for development and testing teams. The role involves overseeing Agile ceremonies, managing work and release management, and recommending process improvements.
Responsibilities
- As Scrum Master, will provide direction to the development and testing teams members, conduct Agile Ceremonies, oversee work and release management
- Responsible for managing the entire Scrum process and maintaining Scrum artifacts and Scrum Tool
- Takes projects from assignment to implementation
- Supports management team’s efforts in change management
- Recommends and takes action to improve processes
Skills
- All candidates must be a US Citizen, or have permanent residence status (Green Card) who has the ability to obtain a public trust
- Motivated self-starter with excellent analytical, organization, and troubleshooting skills
- Deep knowledge of software development cycle and testing methodologies
- Utilization of DevOps and Agile methods to promote collaboration and flexibility in software testing and development
- Experience using Version One or other work management tools
- Strong understanding of the complete life cycle of a system (SDLC) application and operating systems
- Attention to Detail. Critical for identifying discrepancies in payroll calculations that could lead to financial penalties or legal issues
- Problem-Solving. Ability to analyze issues and payroll anomalies, determine if a discrepancy is a system bug or input error, and work with developers to resolve them
- Strong Communication Skills. Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders, Solutions Architects, Product Owner, Managers and Developers
- Time Management. Manage testing schedules to meet deadlines and payroll cycles
- Successful candidates will ensure quality, timely completion of projects, meeting the specified expectations, reducing the risk or errors and customer satisfaction
- Scrum Master Certification required
- A minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years' relevant experience
- A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required
- Typically performs all functional duties independently
- DevSecOps
- Agile Scrum
- VersionOne or equivalent Agile project management software
- Knowledge of and experience with SDLC practices
- Payroll systems and processing
- Mainframe knowledge a plus
