[Remote] Workday HR Analyst (Benefits Audit)

The role involves supporting HR audit processes, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance across benefit programs and HRIS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key resource for HR audit support, including identifying, reviewing, and resolving discrepancies across benefit programs and HRIS platforms
- Interface with HR partners and vendors to resolve escalations, particularly those identified through audit findings, following a consistent methodology
- Support a positive employee experience within benefit programs while ensuring processes, data, and documentation meet audit and compliance standards
- Track and index all work in the case management tool in real time, ensuring data integrity and audit-ready reporting
- Recommend updates to case management tools and templates to improve audit tracking, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Support ad hoc data requests and documentation, with a focus on audit inquiries
- Identify recurring themes or issues raised by HR partners for audit review and root cause analysis
- Perform intake tasks as needed to support audit workflows and overall operational coverage
- Make recommendations for process improvements based on audit findings and escalation trends
- Contribute to audit-focused reporting and continuous improvement presentations for vendors and HR partners
- Maintain benefit records and prepare documentation required for audit validation and benefit coverage implementation
- Ensure benefit processing and payroll-related items are completed accurately and on time to meet compliance and audit requirements
- Provide support during annual Open Enrollment, ensuring audit readiness and data accuracy
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in managing audit-related matters and escalations
- Maintain regular, consistent attendance and flexibility to support audit cycles and deadlines
Skills
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working with Workday and large data sets
- Strong background in HR Benefits data and audits
- Willingness to work EST hours
