Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a leader in cloud computing, and they are seeking a Software Development Engineer to enhance their AWS Marketplace and Partnerships team. The role involves designing and developing scalable systems and public APIs to support partner sales and drive innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Own significant portions of the product and have significant influence on our strategy by helping define the next wave of product features and system architecture
  • Work on complex system software, focusing on customer-centric solutions and building quality software while achieving operational excellence
  • Collaborate with business and technical partners to ensure effective communication and teamwork

Skills

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
  • 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
  • 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
