MJK Financial is a retirement-focused financial planning and wealth management firm dedicated to helping clients build, protect, and distribute their assets throughout retirement. They are seeking an ambitious, relationship-driven Financial Advisor to provide comprehensive financial planning services and help clients navigate important retirement decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial planning and retirement income planning meetings with clients and prospects
  • Develop and implement investment recommendations tailored to client goals and risk tolerance
  • Build relationships with clients introduced through My Medicare Network and identify opportunities to provide advisory services
  • Present wealth management, retirement planning, and income distribution strategies
  • Maintain regular communication with clients through reviews and ongoing service
  • Prospect for new business through networking, referrals, community involvement, seminars, workshops, and other business development activities
  • Collaborate with internal team members to deliver a comprehensive client experience
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation while adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Stay current on financial planning, investment, retirement, and industry developments

Skills

  • FINRA Series 65 or Series 66 required (Series 7 preferred if applicable)
  • Experience in financial planning, wealth management, retirement planning, or investment advisory services
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to develop business through both firm-generated opportunities and personal prospecting efforts
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Life and Health Insurance License preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and financial planning software is a plus
  • Knowledge of Medicare-related planning considerations is beneficial but not required
  • Long-term care planning knowledge and experience are a significant plus
