[Remote] Senior Platform Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to improve and maintain their multi-cloud infrastructure and enhance their platform's security and observability. This role involves cross-team collaboration and requires a strong background in platform engineering within a fast-scaling AI company.
Responsibilities
- Design, automate, and reduce the toil associated with maintaining ReflexAI’s multi-cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud and AWS
- Drive observability, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Create safe, reliable, scalable, and secure paths for software and systems to reach production
- Own the tooling that engineers use to build, test, and deploy code
- Standardize pipelines, guard rails, and gold paths to accelerate developer velocity
- Introduce and improve internal tooling that reduces operational overhead
- Improve on-call ergonomics and reduce MTTR through better instrumentation
- Implement best practices for secrets management, IAM, network security, vulnerability scanning, and container security
- Build automated checks and secure-by-default workflows into CI/CD and cloud environments
- Collaborate with Compliance and Security teams to ensure ReflexAI meets industry and customer expectations
Skills
- 5–7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, and platform engineering roles
- Deep hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (GCP and AWS) as well as Terraform and Terragrunt
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, guard rails, and golden paths for modern application stacks
- Proficiency in modern observability ecosystems (Datadog experience is a major plus)
- Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, container security, and network architecture
- Experience with AI-driven development
- Experience working in a fast-growing startup environment
- Backend-related coding experience, primarily with Typescript
- Background supporting machine learning, model serving, or data-intensive workloads
- Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, HITRUST)
- Prior experience building internal developer platforms or paved-path tooling
