[Remote] Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TurboVets, Inc. builds mission-critical software supporting U.S. Military branches and Veterans. They are hiring a mid-level Project Manager to strengthen execution discipline and ensure predictable delivery across their programs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain structured deployment and UAT dashboards; track environment readiness and production milestones
- Surface blockers with clear owners and timelines; prepare weekly health summaries
- Maintain risk registers, action trackers, and change logs
- Monitor sprint commitments, scope control, and cross-team dependencies
- Ensure documentation, approvals, and artifacts are audit-ready
- Draft structured weekly status updates and coordinate cross-team working sessions
Skills
- 3 to 6 years of project management experience in software or tech environments
- Executes with discipline and doesn't need hand-holding
- Comfortable engaging directly with engineering teams
- Experience with Jira, ClickUp, or similar tools
- Strong written communication skills, including government-facing documentation and stakeholder reporting
- Strong dashboarding and milestone tracking skills
- Familiarity with Agile delivery environments
- Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-based systems (AWS a plus)
- Must be a US citizen and eligible to obtain a CAC
- Prior military, federal, or compliance-driven environment experience (RMF, ATO, FedRAMP)
