[Remote] HealthCare Data Architect
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tekgence Inc is seeking a Healthcare Data Architect with expertise in Cerner Soarian and Millennium platforms. The role involves leading the design and integration of healthcare data into enterprise environments to support analytics and reporting, ensuring data quality and governance standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Lead onboarding of Cerner Soarian and Cerner Millennium data into enterprise platforms
- Design source-to-target mappings from Cerner data models to enterprise specifications
- Extract, transform, and validate clinical, financial, and operational data
- Perform data profiling, reconciliation, and gap analysis
- Design and maintain scalable data models and data flows
- Partner with IT, clinical, and business stakeholders to translate requirements
- Ensure data quality, validation, and governance standards are met
- Lead implementations and mentor junior resources
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5–10+ years of experience in data architecture or healthcare analytics
- Hands-on experience with Cerner Soarian and/or Cerner Millennium data models
- Experience with enterprise data warehouse environments
- Advanced SQL and database optimization
- Data warehousing concepts (ETL, CDC, dimensional modeling)
- Cloud platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure)
- Data modeling and governance practices
- Deep expertise in Cerner Soarian and Cerner Millennium
- Understanding of clinical workflows and data lifecycles
- Familiarity with ICD, CPT, LOINC, SNOMED, RxNorm coding systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Stakeholder communication and collaboration
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Leadership and accountability
