The Fraunhofer Research Institution for Energy Infrastructures and Geotechnologies IEG conducts research at seven locations across Germany in the fields of integrated energy infrastructures, geothermal energy, and sector coupling to support a successful energy transition. Our institution performs applied research, develops innovative technologies for public and industrial clients, and transfers research results into market-ready products, processes, and solutions. Within our Competence Center for »Monitoring and Artificial Intelligence«, we develop innovative solutions for the monitoring, analysis, and optimization of energy infrastructures and geothermal systems. Our work focuses on artificial intelligence, large-scale data analytics, predictive modeling, and intelligent monitoring systems for future energy technologies.
