Senior Product Manager II, Search Platform

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join BOLD’s core product platform team. In this role, you will ship products and services that transform the lives of job seekers around the world. You will own the day to day improvements, experimentation, feature development and revenue driving growth initiatives, building platforms that support multiple businesses. ABOUT THIS TEAM Our mission is to provide the best-in-class job search tools that drive the best outcomes for job seekers and provide long term value for our brand. This team works cross-functionally with Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Design, and Finance to achieve business goals. WHAT YOU’LL DO Own the end-to-end search platform, including retrieval, ranking, recommendations and matching, to drive engagement, conversion, and marketplace outcomes. Continuously improve product performance through rigorous experimentation (A/B testing), data analysis, and user research. Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, and Design to define and ship high-impact features that improve relevance, quality, and efficiency of search results. Define and prioritize product requirements, roadmaps, and success metrics aligned to business goals. Develop a deep understanding of user intent, segmentation, and behavior to inform search strategy and personalization approaches. Lead quantitative and qualitative analyses (e.g., funnel diagnostics, cohort analysis, usability studies) to identify opportunities and inform decisions. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including “do no harm” metrics, to ensure balanced and sustainable product improvements. Analyze competitive landscape and industry trends to inform product direction and differentiation. WHAT YOU’LL NEED 8+ years of Product Management experience, ideally on consumer-facing or marketplace products. Direct experience owning or contributing to search, recommendations, ranking, or related discovery systems. Strong foundation in experimentation, including A/B test design, execution, and interpretation. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights, decisions, and product strategy. Ability to partner effectively with technical teams, with a solid understanding of system architecture, tradeoffs, and implementation complexity. Experience defining metrics frameworks and using data to drive prioritization and outcomes. Proven ability to integrate user research and usability insights into product development. WHAT’S GOOD TO HAVE Experience working in globally distributed teams. Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Technology related field Experience with a subscription based B2C product. Experience with products in the jobs / job search space Additional Pay Ranges All other locations: $150,000-$190,000 SF/NY/Seattle : $180,000-$225,000 Austin/Chicago: $175,000-$195,000

This estimated range is based on the best available market data and factors, all of which are subject to change.
