Senior Quality Engineer (QE/SDET) – Web, Mobile Automation & AI Testing Experienced Quality Engineer with 8+ years of expertise in designing and implementing automation solutions for web and mobile applications. Strong hands-on experience in Playwright, Appium, Selenium, API automation, and end-to-end quality engineering practices. Proven ability to build scalable automation frameworks, integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and drive quality initiatives across Agile environments. Key Skills: Web Automation: Playwright, Selenium WebDriver Mobile Automation: Appium (Android & iOS), BrowserStack Programming: TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Python API Testing: Playwright API, Postman, REST Assured Framework Design: Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven & Hybrid Frameworks CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Version Control: Git, GitHub Agile/Scrum Methodologies SQL and Database Validation AI & Modern Testing Experience: Leveraging Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) for test case generation, automation script development, and test data creation. AI-assisted defect analysis, root cause identification, and risk-based testing. Experience validating AI-powered applications, chatbots, and LLM-based workflows. Prompt engineering for QA use cases and automation acceleration. Key Responsibilities: Developed and maintained scalable Playwright automation frameworks using TypeScript. Automated web application testing including functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end scenarios. Designed and executed mobile automation suites for Android and iOS applications using Appium. Implemented API automation and backend validation for enterprise applications. Integrated automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to define quality strategies and ensure high-quality product releases. Analyzed test results, tracked defects, and drove resolution through close engagement with development teams. Achievements: Improved automation coverage across critical business workflows. Reduced regression execution time through parallel execution and CI/CD integration. Enhanced testing efficiency through AI-driven test design and automation practices.
