Job Description

Let’s Talk about the Role The Workshop Associate will perform essential maintenance, repairs, and service operations to ensure the reliability and performance of our hydropower equipment. You will play a vital role within our team, ensuring that our technical operations are executed to the highest standards of quality and safety. By maintaining, servicing, and optimizing our heavy-duty machinery, you directly contribute to the sustainability of the energy infrastructure that powers our communities. How You Will Make a Difference Maintaining high-performance standards by performing precision service and repair on complex machinery and mechanical components. Executing detailed inspections and work planning to ensure every project is completed efficiently and safely. Collaborating with our quality team to drive continuous improvements in our shop processes and output. Ensuring our tools, test equipment, and machinery are fully operational through proactive maintenance and care. Championing a world-class safety culture by acting as a lead resource for health, safety, and environment (HSE) training and best practices. Special Role Requirements Able to travel extensively to and from projects and various field assignments. Willing to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments. Ability to spend considerable time away from home for training and field assignments. Skills for Success You should be a proactive and safety-conscious technician with: The ability to interpret technical requirements for machinery repairs, including measurement and tolerances. The capability to manage maintenance tasks effectively, from initial resource planning to final execution. An understanding of modern shop safety standards and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture. An expertise in utilizing industrial tools and equipment to deliver high-quality mechanical solutions. A keen interest in working collaboratively within a team to solve complex mechanical challenges. A formal qualification as an Industrial Mechanic (Industrimekaniker m/fagbrev) is highly valued, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements. Where and how you'll work This is a permanent position based in our Oslo location. This is a fully remote position based in Oslo.
