As a Program Management Advisor for Cigna Healthcare Clinical, you will provide strategic and project management support to the Enterprise Health Equity and Language Accessibility Program (HE/LAP). This role blends strategy, execution, and collaboration to improve patient outcomes, strengthen regulatory readiness, and scale initiatives that reduce health disparities. You will plan, execute, and deliver initiatives that improve access, quality, and experience for customers while partnering across clinical, analytics, technology, operations, and compliance teams.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery of Language & Accessibility Program and Health Equity initiatives, managing scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, and outcomes from intake through implementation and sustainment. Develop and maintain integrated project plans, roadmaps, and delivery artifacts that advance equitable access to care and language assistance services across the enterprise. Select and apply appropriate delivery methodologies (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall) to meet initiative goals, stakeholder needs, and regulatory requirements. Support governance and delivery forums, including project kickoffs, status reviews, risk reviews, and retrospectives, to align stakeholders and drive accountability. Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies; drive mitigation strategies and timely resolution to support language access service delivery, health equity compliance, program performance, and regulatory audit readiness. Partner with clinical, compliance, operations, analytics, and technology stakeholders to implement solutions that improve access, experience, and outcomes for diverse and underserved populations. Prepare concise, executive-ready reporting that communicates progress, risks, decisions required, performance metrics, and program impact related to health equity and language assistance efforts. Support adoption and sustainability of delivered solutions through effective change management, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement. Lead coordination of compliance training and program support activities to help ensure adherence to state and federal language access and health equity requirements.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of project or program management experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives. Demonstrated proficiency in core project management disciplines including planning, scheduling, risk management, dependency tracking, and change control. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leaders. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a matrixed environment with attention to detail for integrating regulatory requirements. Proficiency with project and collaboration tools such as Wrike, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and/or Microsoft Project. Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and drive execution with minimal direction.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience in healthcare, health equity, or population health with a deep understanding of equity-centered design principles. Experience leading enterprise initiatives with executive visibility and measurable delivery outcomes. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 95,400 - 159,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
