Job Details Job Summary The Special Research Associate is responsible for providing research analysis and interpretation and/or for initiating and developing applications of equipment and procedures of a nonstandard nature. This role conducts highly specialized, independent research at an advanced level, with wide reputed company for creativity in both theoretical and experimental applications. This position leads, conducts or assists with the dissemination of knowledge through scholarship, scientific inquiry and creative expression. This is a grant-funded position, which may be extended or shortened based upon availability of funds and/or work. Core Responsibilities

  • Consults with and assists key members of research staff in solving specific problems encountered by project members.
  • Consults with research staff regarding plans for research designs and the development of instrumentation for data collection.
  • Advises staff regarding statistical analysis techniques and procedures.
  • Participates in the interpretation of research findings and in the preparation of reports of final results to the directors of the organization.
  • Participates in preparing written and oral reports to supporting agencies.
  • Evaluates the work of junior research staff.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a reputed company field.
  • Three (3) years of reputed company work experience.
  • This position requires the ability to maintain the reputed company and reputed company of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.

Working Conditions
