Job Summary:
Schneider National, Inc. is currently seeking a professional and experienced Tanker Driver with a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A). Our Tanker Drivers are among the highest paid in Schneiders fleet, making this job a solid career choice. As a Tanker driver, you will be earning up to $0.57 per mile* with a weekly performance pay up to $0.04 per mile. Job Description:
After successful completion of the paid training program, the Tanker Driver will be responsible for safely operating a company truck and transporting liquid or bulk materials to and from specified destinations. This position requires the ability to drive long distances and stay overnight on the road.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
– Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A)
– Must have a minimum of 1-year experience operating a tanker
– Safe driving record and history
– Regularly inspect the vehicle and perform basic maintenance tasks
– Loading and unloading cargo, ensuring its safety during transport
– Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards
– Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
– Comfortable with navigating and efficient route planning

Educational Qualification:
– High School diploma or equivalent
– Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A) training certification
Experience:
While a minimum of one year of prior experience operating a tanker is desirable, we also value the skills and dedication of military veterans and welcome their applications.
