Job Summary:
Starbucks is seeking a passionate, friendly, and dedicated Barista to join our team in a part-time role, with flexibility in scheduling. This position entails working less than 4 hours per day, providing a balance between work and personal life. Our competitive compensation is based on an hourly rate. Job Description:
As a Starbucks Barista, you will be at the forefront of our mission to provide an exceptional customer experience. Your primary responsibility will be crafting and serving high-quality beverages with keen attention to detail, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean, comfortable store environment.
Responsibilities:
– Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks following recipes and preparation techniques.
– Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
– Operate cash register, handle cash transactions with customers.
– Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
– Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
– Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
– Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques is a plus, but not required.
– Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
– Must have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Education Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
– Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role in hospitality is a plus, but not required.
