Job Description

As a Flight Attendant with American Airlines, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a diverse team of professionals. Responsibilities

– Attend to passengers’ needs, answer questions, and resolve onboard issues efficiently

– Serve meals and refreshments and sell onboard duty-free goods

– Administer and coordinate emergency procedures or provide first aid if needed

– Prepare flight reports and remain compliant with all aviation rules and regulations

Requirements

– Minimum age of 21 years

– High School diploma or equivalent; further education is advantageous

– Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus

– Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

– Compliance with height and weight standards

– Must be able to attend and complete an unpaid training course

– Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays

Educational Qualifications

– A high school diploma or GED is required.

– Further certifications in hospitality, communication, or any relevant field will be advantageous.

Experience

– Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.

– Previous experience as a flight attendant is advantageous but not required since paid training is provided.
