Job Description:

The sales clerk will provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product selection, and purchases. The ideal candidate will have solid understanding of sales principles and customer service practices. You will work alongside a team of sales associates to ensure the store’s merchandise is displayed and priced correctly and the store is clean and well-organized.

Responsibilities:

– Greet customers entering Walmart store

– Handle cash transactions with customers using cash registers

– Issue receipts, refunds, and change

– Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas

– Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction

– Restock shelves with merchandise as needed

– Resolve customer complaints in a polite and efficient manner

Requirements:

– High school degree or equivalent

– Prior retail or customer service experience preferred

– Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

– Proficiency in English

– Basic Math skills

– Strong communication and time management skills
