Job Summary:

Amazon, a Fortune 500 company and the global leader in e-commerce, is seeking a part-time Customer Support Specialist for our Mesquite location. The successful candidate will work under 4 hours per day, providing exceptional customer service and contributing to our mission of being the world’s most customer-centric company.

Job Description:

As a part-time Customer Support Specialist, you will be the initial point of contact for our customers via phone, email, and chat. You are responsible for assisting customers with their queries, resolving issues, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities:

– Provide excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and professionalism

– Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives

– Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved

– Maintain customer records by updating account information

– Liaise with the technical team to handle complex issues

Requirements:

– Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

– Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

– Positive attitude and customer-oriented approach

– Excellent communication and presentation skills

– Ability to remain calm when customers are stressed or upset

Educational Qualifications:

– High school degree or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated

– Previous experience in a customer support role is an added advantage
