Job Description:
As a Part-Time Fitness Trainer at Planet Fitness, you’ll play a crucial role in creating a welcoming, friendly environment for all members whilst promoting a healthy lifestyle. You will offer support, motivation, and advice to members to help them reach their fitness goals and also ensure safety regulations are adhered to.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct group fitness classes for members of different fitness levels.
– Design and implement personalized exercise plans for members.
– Monitor gym cleanliness and safety.
– Motivate and assist members in setting and reaching their fitness goals.
– Perform fitness assessments and body analysis for members.
– Provide outstanding customer service and promptly handle member questions or concerns.
Requirements:
– A passion for fitness and health.
– Prior fitness industry experience is preferred.
– A nationally recognized personal training certification is desired.
– Excellent communication and customer service skills.
– Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
– Must be 18 years of age or older.
Educational Qualifications:
– High school diploma or GED required.
– Degree in a related field (Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, etc.) is a plus.
