Job Description
We are looking for a talented and passionate engineer to join our team and work on the development of the Apple TV Remote 1st Gen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware and software engineering, with a keen interest in consumer electronics and remote control technology. Responsibilities Design, develop, and test the Apple TV Remote 1st Gen hardware and software components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with Apple TV devices. Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in remote control technology. Debug and troubleshoot issues related to the remotes performance and functionality. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members. Document design specifications, testing procedures, and other technical documentation. Qualifications BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in hardware and software development, preferably in consumer electronics. Proficiency in embedded systems and microcontroller programming. Experience with Bluetooth, IR, and other wireless communication technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends. Preferred Skills Experience with Apple TV and its ecosystem. Knowledge of battery management and power optimization techniques. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Experience with CAD tools for hardware design.
