Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Receipt Poster to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities • Accurately receive and document payments and adjustments to accounts. • Post copays, deductibles, coinsurance, write-offs, and payments according to Explanation of Benefits (EOBs). • Apply recoupments in line with EOB guidelines. • Utilize account details to manage write-offs for inclusive CPT codes as directed by payers. • Execute system-related tasks to accurately post daily cash receipts, retractions, refunds, denials, and adjustments. • Consistently meet productivity standards while maintaining high-quality performance. • Handle sensitive information responsibly, adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements. Required Skills • Previous experience in medical billing is preferred. • Strong comprehension of medical billing terminology and processes. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities. • Capable of effective information analysis. • Strong documentation and time management skills. • Commitment to delivering high-quality results. • Basic mathematical aptitude is necessary. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in medical billing are a plus. • Previous experience in medical billing or a related field is advantageous.
