Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute a comprehensive national sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth objectives. • Conduct in-depth market analysis to uncover opportunities, anticipate trends, and refine strategies. • Generate precise sales forecasts and synchronize initiatives with marketing to ensure optimal outcomes. • Recruit, mentor, and nurture a high-performing remote sales team with a focus on succession planning. • Set clear performance expectations and provide continuous coaching to drive team success. • Cultivate robust relationships with executives at national accounts, enhancing our service offerings. • Collaborate effectively with company leadership and cross-functional teams to align sales with broader business goals. • Manage key national accounts, spearheading contract negotiations and overseeing the sales budget. • Continuously analyze sales performance, utilizing insights to refine processes and enhance customer satisfaction. • Engage in regular travel to customer sites and company headquarters to support sales initiatives. Required Skills • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams. • Experience in driving substantial revenue growth and managing large national accounts. • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for effective customer relationship management. • Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance metrics and implement improvements. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful relationships with stakeholders. • Ability to adapt strategies based on performance data and market insights. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. • A minimum of 5 years of sales leadership experience, preferably in food safety, retail, or similar sectors. • Demonstrated experience in managing remote teams and maintaining national accounts is essential.
